Question Webcam Not Working After OBS Studio - Dell Inspirion 7348

My laptop was given to someone else for some studio work via OBS studio, primarily screen recordings. Ever since then, the webcam has stopped working.

The Windows 10 camera application either gives the error code 0xA00F4244<NoCamerasAreAttached>, or just a blank screen 50% of the time. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the camefa drivers, along with completely reinstalling windows but no avail.

Any tips and advice would be greatly appreciated.

My thought is that whoever used the laptop for studio work connected in another camera and disabled the laptop's camera.

Look in Device Manager > Imaging Devices for cameras.

(Verify that "Show hidden devices" is checked via the View tab.)

Failing that then there is another way to look for cameras.

Will take just a bit more effort.

The laptop is currently in the possession of the IT department at work. Will post back in regards to further updates.
