Question Websites stop working well all of a sudden ?

So recently my macbook has been "blocking" me from going to certain websites, such as wikipedia, dictionary.com, wikihow, and others, but on my iPad these websites are visitable, and I can go onto some websites but they are half broken such as accuweather. I have no idea what is happening and would like some help

Im on a 13 Macbook pro (Early 2015) with El Capitan 10.11.6

What error messages or other information is presented when blocking occurs?

Make and model router? The router's logs, if available and enabled, may offer some clue.

Who has full admin rights to the router? You will need help from that person.

Its not an error message but its simply saying "Safari protected you" or "Chrome protected you" and on some websites it says "Safari can't establish a secure connection to the server" I can't give you the router info at the moment but when I can I will get it to you
