Question websocket handshake error on discord

since today i have been experiencing connection problems on discord
rarely connect to any channel, and when i can randomly connect, i get kicked out after a minute

it says, WebSocket connection to 'domain name' failed: error during WebSocket handshake: Unexpected response code 525

can someone plz help cause ive tried alot of things now and nothing seems to work.
resetting modem, changing server region, reinstalled etc

This is a application issues of some kind I suspect. Websocket I think is part of the SSL negotiation. This tends to be a server issue of if there is some program you loaded it could be a error in that.

This is not a actual network problem that you can solve at the OS or router level.

i can connect to other servers indeed. but what do you suggest then?

This is more a question you ask someone who runs discord servers.

I would do a search on that exact phrase--that's usually how to figure out errors I've not seen before.
