As you all have probably noticed I have had many questions in the past few days, and thank you for all the help. However I would now like to make a statement. This company (webuildpcs.com, abilitywholesale.com) was really helpful until they got my money. I ordered an Iwill XP-333-R from them and other components which came in today. Everything nice and neat no problems. So I sent them an e-mail saying that i was very pleased and thanked them for making my FIRST online shopping experience a pleasurable one. PC3000 was backordered but will be here with case tomorrow. I thought this was very efficient because i ordered system last friday. However, the motherboard I received was an Iwill XP-333 notice no R and all of the software and manuals I received with mobo are for XP-333-R. after inspecting every thing more closely I realized this and went to send them an e-mail to let then know as I have had no luck whatsoever getting anyone on the phone. So to my disbelief when i went to the website to e-mail customer service I got a message from windows saying that i had been disallowed from this website. Saying that the server has a list of ip addresses that are not allowed to view site and I was on that list. Hmmm what do you think? Is there a way that I may get in touch with these ppl or should I just build the system and eat the $10 extra that the onboard highpoint costed? I must say this (pleasurable experience) just turned to [-peep-] and I hope that everything works once I get it together. Anyway exercise extreme caution when ordering anything from these guys as you will never talk to anyone personally. If everything ends up ok I will repost and let everyone know but for now I'm thinking I should have paid the extra $90 and ordered from newegg or someone else a little more reputable. any advice or info would help alot.
thanks,
G8R

P.S. will the software and manuals still be ok for installing the XP-333? everything is identical on the boards from what I see so I wanted to ask to be sure.
thanks

hopefully you paid by credit card .. dispute the charges until they make it right ( don't install the parts) the denial of their $$ will certainly guarantee a response from them

Please keep this post updated.
If they don't make amends I won't
buy from them. Nor will my friends.

This is why I like shopping in the stores, can go back and fix my problems in a few minutes. Didn't take long to find a store with decent prices and sales people who know what they are talking about (most of the time anyway). Okay you save some money at on-line places, but the ammount of people I see complaining about getting screwed is way too high.

Then again, my wife's credit card number was stolen and used on-line almost 2 years ago, she never used her card on-line so no clue how they got it, but bank called and got it cleared in a few minutes at no cost.

I would shop in brick\mortar stores more but they just don't have what I need .. where I live ( NY state 70 miles North of NYC) there are no good outlets for mobos or quality ram etc etc .. price is a consideration also but that is well known .. availability of parts for the DIY builder is much more of the problem

Hey guys just giving you an update. Everything came in. several items were WRONG. I have to deal with the Iwill xp-333 instead of the raid equipped board. I have to deal with the case I ordered and a 300w PSU instead of the 400watt PSU I ordered. So if anyone asks you to recommend someone be sure to tell them to steer clear of this 2-bit send ya what we want you to have computer store. Anyway, the shipping to send the wrong equipment back and get the right equpiment would cost more than just dealing with what I have. thanks for telling everyone that this place is nothing but ppl that will not respond to e-mail and will NEVER answer their phone.
