Weird blue/purple artifact in shadows on some games.

Has anyone seen this before? I reinstalled the driver and the problem seemed to go away but it came right back. Any idea on how to fix this would be greatly appreciated. It seems to only show up on shadows.

OKAY, WEIRD, if you take a picture the problem isn't there... What's going on here?

I loaded up the game, and the problem stopped... That's weird, I think this could be a monitor problem. I could've sworn I saw the purple specs in the picture when I uploaded it.. The problem is on and off... Any idea?

I had this on my Xbox, it turned out to be a cooling issue, check your cooling and improve it if necessary. Also, try a different graphics card, as these artifacts can be a sign of damaged video memory.

The GPU is only at about 65 celsius and the CPU 40 celius so I'm positive it's not that. The thing is, I'm now certain it has something to do with the monitor.

Yeah just found out this has nothing to do with gaming. Woops. This is a monitor problem. Sometimes it has this bug, sometimes not...

Guys I'm so sorry. It was a cable issue. AGH!!! Fiddled with it and the pixels went back to normal.
