Im using Razer Huntsman the cobra pro and goliathus extended chroma. All of a sudden everything lost power except my controller which is a series x plugged into the front panel which was not effect. It said usb didnt have enough power and there was a surge. Did it shut down on safety ? That would make sense. The usb ports i was using was 3.2 gen 1 will plugging into gen 2 work ?

My thought is that the motherboard is not able to handle the USB load.

Try using an independently powered USB hub - a hub that has its' own power supply.

The hub is plugged into the motherboard and the peripherals are plugged into the hub.

Not the motherboard.
any recommendations ? Does 3.2 gen 2 deliver more power then gen 1 ?

I had a thought because i have had some stability issues with this machine where ceratin games will cause the system to restart the machine with buzzing. I also had this issue with stability with another machine with the the PSU and GPU. Could all this be caused by a Bad/faulty PSU

What "certain games"? Source?

Power down, unplug, open the case.

Clean out dust and debris.

Verify by sight and feel that all connectors, cards, jumpers, RAM, and case connectors are fully and firmly in place.

Use a bright flashlight to inspect for signs of damage: bare conductor showing, melting, pinched or kinked wires, scratches, browned or blackened areas, moisture, dead bugs, corrosion, loose or missing screws, cracks, swollen components..... etc..
