Weird grid pattern when watching YouTube vids on fullscreen

Hello, I recently noted a weird bug where every time i go fullscreen on a YouTube video, a weird faint grid pattern appears across the entire video, like this:

I didn't notice it before so idk if it's a driver issue. The ONLY time this doesn't happen is when the video is in HTML5 format, which leads me to think it's flash player related. I tried disabling hardware acceleration, I've tried with every web browser, and I have the latest AMD drivers.

Here's my setup:
Mobo: M5A97 R2
FX 8320
8 GB of RAM
GPU: Sapphire 7850 1GB

Any help would be appreciated.

okay the HTML5 fixes the grid thing, but it also turns the quality of the video to shit. Chrome has since crashed a few times and I found it was because of the 32nd update, i downgraded to 31 and it no longer crashes and runs a bit smoother. As for my specs i know i am using AMD quad-core radeon graphics, i think i have 8 gigs of ram, and i think that's all i know about it. I am almost to the point of doing a complete system rollback to a few days ago when it was working perfectly. It only happens to me on Chrome, so it has to be chrome that is the problem.

Oh thank god i've found someone with the same problem, i get the grid lines like that only in google chrome and it is very annoying, i dont kow how to use the HTML5 format but i just want to fix whatever has gone wrong with it today. it was working fine untill today it just started...



I dont know how to upload a picture but i am getting exactly that

Have you made any changes recently? Installed new drivers? Also, can you post your specs to see if mine have anything in common? As for the HTML5 mode, go to this page: www.YouTube.com/html5

Umm okay.. I don't even know what happened. I left my computer to sleep for a few hours while I was at work and when I come back to test it, everything is fine... I still wanna know how to fix it next time if it happens again, but for now it's okay. So very confused...

Well, I found the answer myself. Turns out i didn't have HTML5 enabled, so that's why not all videos were shown correctly. Odd thing is, my vids don't syuffer from quality reduction. Also, the grid glitch happened in all browsers.

Here's what o have:
Hardware Acceleration DISABLED
HTML5 ENABLED
using Chrome
Latest Catalyst drivers
My monitor resolution is 1360 x 768
Also, HTML5 doesn't work on all videos even if you enabled it. Enabling it is a temporary solution, since flash playback has always worked correctly. Idk what to do to fix it completely.
