[SOLVED] weird hissing noise from gpu

My 2080ti recently started making this weird hissing noise whenever it's underload,what exactly could it be..?

Coil whine is fairly common, and it can sound like hissing or growling. Not a whole lot you can do but limit FPS or change the settings, at different outputs it will oscillate at different frequencies.

A more DIY solution is to figure out what coil is making the noise and adding some silicone caulk (mastic) to help dampen the noise.

Noise can be located with a dowel rod, chopstick, pencil, etc that you hold up to your ear and poke the other end around the card until you feel the vibration. But if the coil is deep in the card, you'll really never know which one it is.
