Weird icons in top left corner of monitor. Don't know what it means

I just noticed before that there are weird green circle and microphone icons on the top left of my screen. It won't appear in a screenshot and is weird.

Those look like Recording Icons for your Microphone... that means you have something running that records sound or voice messages... all you have to do is look at Notification Icons next to your clock and figure out which program those icons belong too...

since it wont appear in screenshots, it is most likely display's/laptops internal mic/camera being on for some reason. If the icon originated from the computer and software, it should appear on screenshots.

My own guess at what is going on:
you are either using laptop or the display has said features and they are on for some reason.

are you running the Nvidia Geforce experience beta? That microphone icon looks the same as this screen: http://images.nvidia.com/geforce-com/international/images/geforce-experience/geforce-experience-share-beta-january-update-mic-control-customization.png.

I think its associated with share. I can't confirm as I don't have the beta and the normal app just failed to launch on my PC.
