Weird motherboard pricing in canada

I was looking to buy a new components for my new build and i came across something strange. The ROG STRIX and Maximus z370 boards are cheaper than the ROG STRIX and maximus z270 boards.
Does anybody know why?

Possibly an oversupply of 370 boards and an shortage of 270 boards?
