Weird pattern crashing games

Hello all.
Im using a STRIX R9 390X and every so often these weird shapes appear on the screen.
Wouldnt be so annoying but after a while they cause the game to crash.
Temps are good as it doesn't reach above 60.

Im using the optimized graphics settings in accordance with RAPTR and if not the games optimizer.

Anyone have a clue whats going on. Ill try to upload a photo

They are called artifacts, you need to check the temps of your card. Since its a fairly new card I would call the manufacture and RMA the card.

Like i said. the temp doesnt go above 60 which is why i thought it was weird

After finding out what artifacts are i have managed to change some parameters on my card and they now seem to have stopped! Thank you

all cards should be able to run at their set speed from the manufacture. If the don't or cant you should send it back for replacement. If your having to change settings to get a card stable it will only get worse as time goes on. Send it back now while its under warranty.


This all of this is a moot point if your overclocking the card past what the manufacture set the card at.
