So I recently got a new router from TWC because our older router could not handle our current internet plan. The first day of having this router it worked fine no problems (I am on WIFI btw) but the next day I launch CS:GO and I am having constant ping stutters and choke loss.

This is what it looks like ingame: https://i.gyazo.com/b7971b950d6c9f41ca140869150d0a7b.gif

My new router is a arris tg862 and here are my current speeds: https://i.gyazo.com/95301d138dc3333924b47f21770beb9f.png

And another thing when I connect to the new router on my pc it claims i have no internet connection and shows a little yellow triangle yet I have internet access.

If requested I can log into my router to get more information to you guys.

Thanks you and any help is appreciated.

Could you try an Ethernet cable to your router and see if the issue goes away.

Wireless isn't the best solution for gaming as Wireless majority of the time cause latency spikes on a frequent basis.
If distance is an issue, I would suggest opting for Powerline Adapters

It has never been a problem and I don't have an option my pc is upstairs. Like I said it worked fine at first and then suddenly started acting up.

Anytime I hear someone report high pings and chokes, I recommend they try DSLReports Speedtest (www.dslreports.com/speedtest) It will measure both your down/up speeds as well as the latency/lag *during the test* This is shown in the Bufferbloat measurement (which isn't provided by Ookla/speedtest.net)

The Bufferbloat test gives a letter grade to show whether your router has bufferbloat - undesirable latency when the router is handling lots of traffic.

If the test gets a bad letter grade, you can look at What to do about Bufferbloat for more info
