Question Weird popup/ad constantly showing up

Try roguekiller can as well..

(There's a portable version not requiring installation that is more than sufficient 3/4 of the way down the website page)

https://www.adlice.com/download/roguekiller/

Something clearly has it's hooks in your system, so, if removing/reinstalling browser and a few classic antimalware apps don't find it, it's likely only a matter of time before you resort to backing up your data and doing a delete partition/reinstall...

Unfortunately... it doesn't seem to have worked and ive tried everything else, its really frustrating and i have no idea what caused it to happen but its definitely adware of some kind cause if i leave it open it goes to a random ad. I have no idea how to partition stuff like that and i only just finished building the desktop so theres not much on it.

I'd have been a pleasantly little surprised to see Zemana catch it if MBAM missed it, but, hope that got it for ya! If it did not, if/when installing to SSD from USB flash drive, laying down a new fresh Windows install takes about 5 minutes these days...

(it would have been nice to see what Zemana identified on that detection...)
