For the past few weeks I have been hearing a loud annoying static/buzzing noise emitting from the computer. It is not constant but half the time my computer is on the static noise is present and very loud. When I would plug in headphones or a mouse the static noise would stop for a second before resuming which leads me to believe it is something to do with the mother board. Yesterday when i turned on my computer I noticed that my monitor connected through HDMi was not getting any signal even when I tried replugging it in. I then tried using another HDmi cable, as I plugged it in I heard the static noise again and when I turned to look at my monitors not only was the HDMi monitor not working still, my DVI monitor had lost signal now too for some reason. I rang up PCspecalist customer service and the advisor told me to switch off the computer at the front, unplug all components, then try holding the power button for 15 seconds. I did this and turned it back on. The monitors were now working and I couldn't hear the static noise. However shortly after the call the static noise came back and. This morning whilst my computer was on with both monitors I went downstairs for a short while so I turned off both my monitors as I always do if I'm away for a while. When I came back I tried to turn them on and now both are getting no signal whatsoever and wont turn back on, which has put me in the same scenario as yesterday. However as I began to press the power button on my computer, after 2 seconds of holding the button the monitors suddenly came back on.Im worried about the static and that it could be effecting components and slowly making things faulty like the connection to my monitors. Anyone have any idea whats going on?
