Weird thing about GTA V:s Grass Quality

So i have Asus GTX 1060 Dual OC 3GB Version and i can run GTA V on Ultra settings atleast 72 FPS in most places and i have 144hz monitor... But the problem here is that because i have got used to the difference in 144hz monitor the FPS goes around 40's in high Grass places! Whats weird here is that you can see the difference in over 60 fps in 144hz than 60hz and when it goes under 60 fps in 144hz monitor it's just instant frame drop! I'm also using G-Sync btw... I hope you guys got my point here hahaa

Whats the rest of your system specs?

What resolution are you using? And are you using any antialiasing?

What quality setting is grass set to? If on ultra, each individual shrub and grass blade is rendered. Set it to high if you want more fps, ultra is very demanding.
