Question Weird transparent bar kinda thing at the bottom of laptop screen.

Weird bar kinda thing is showing up at the bottom. I tried using snipping tool, it wasn't able to capture. I'm guessing it's something to do with the motherboard because some keys also stopped working on the keyboard and they magically work sometimes. The laptop is a DELL 7577. Also the greyish color (around the icon) when a program is opened is also absent in the taskbar. It goes off when I turn the screen off and turn it back on.

Check and see which version of Windows 10 you're currently on and if you've got any updates pending. Also note the BIOS version for your laptop, the latest at the time of writing is version 1.11. You might also want to see if reinstalling your GPU drivers changes the experience and if disabling the search bar on TaskBar changes your experience.

If the bar you speak of is captured during video as well, then it can be a driver issue, not a motherboard issue.

As I said before, it isn't being captured in snipping tool. Same with video capture. Also my bios is on 1.11
