weirdest microphone/audio input issue ive ever encountered

HELPPP
My PC recognizes microphones, they pop up in recording devices and everything, but for some reason it doesn't pick up my voice, (the green audio bars don't go up and down). The weird part is that if i turn on listen to this device, I can hear the microphone/my voice but no apps register it, including my PC.
(btw i have tried a different computer and my mics work with that, so my PC is 100% the problem)

Since it picks voice your drivers actually work. It could be a low sensitivity mic, so you just have to go to levels and raise the boost mic level a bit to see the green bar interacting. Hit your mic capture with your hand rather than speak to it to check the bar. If it still doesn't work, a driver reinstall maybe needed.

no ive had this mic for ages and out of nowhere its started to do this. ive also tried multiple microphones and non of them work
