Question weirdness

SO this is the weirdest thing ever is my monitor broken or something? So I just got a new bed in my bedroom put in. Now this massive bed has a giant plastic bag around it. The weird thing is when i stood on the end of my metal bed frame to pull the bag up and off my screen would flicker so i stopped it stoped, When I started pulling again i observed it flickering again. Any Ideas

Where is the monitor in relation to the bed?

7 feet from where i was unpacking the bed, and it's power brick is on the floor below it, this isn't hte first time i've had my monitor flick out of the blue thou

i wouldn't put it pass the apartment having crappy wiring. Some of my outlets are upside down, and an outlet in the other room kept overloading from a single computer plugged into it
