Question Were the Ti versions of Nvidia cards ever announced at launch?

A lot of people are really hung up on the whole 3080 Ti vs 3090 vs 2080 naming for these cards that will be out soon. I was looking back through release dates and it's often 2 or more months between the release date of a X80 and X80 Ti card. Were the Ti cards usually announced right at the new architecture launch in the past or were they announced later?

Since they started with Titans, usually it's the x80, then later the x80Ti comes out with nearly the same performance as Titan but at much lower price.

usually later. the love to sell a bunch of the **80 cards and then drop a better ti version a couple months later pissing everyone off.

i don't expect anything different this time other than MUCH higher prices if the rumors turn out to be true.
