Western Digital Hard Drive 100 disk usage

Good Morning everyone.
Since some days i'm experiencing an issue with my 2TB Blue HDD from Western Digital. Here is the issue: almost as soon as I start my pc it goes to 100 disk usage without doing ABSOLUTELY anything.

I've looked online and I've tried the following:
- Disabling Superfetch
- Disabling Windows Search
- Disabling intelligent file sharing
- Tried uninstalling third part antivirus

But the problem persists. I don't get it because I am running it as a data drive only, i just have a few games on it, but when it is at 100 it freezes al my system. I have my OS in a m.2 NMVe 512 GB SSD, so I don't get why all my os freezes.

How can I fix this problem? Because it is very frustrating and I can't seem to solve it the way other people did online.

the simplest solution wud be...to backup d date on a different drive and format it....
but u can try sumthng bfore tht if u want...
install this software and try to fix d problem... http://www.hdsentinel.com/
u need to get hold of d full version though, via torrent maybe...m sure u ll figure tht out...

Sorry that you are facing some issues with your WD drive.
Unfortunately, there is a chance that there is something wrong with the drive. This is why, it may be a good idea to back up the data stored on it until you sort this out.

After that, you can just test it with WD's Data Lifeguard Diagnostic tool(both short and extended tests): http://products.wdc.com/support/kb.ashx?id=PBsNVX

Another thing you can try is to attach the drive with different cables(SATA & power ones) to another SATA ports. I've came across threads where high disk usage was caused by a faulty power cable.
