What 1080 to get for 4K?

Hello,

I am looking to purchase a gtx 1080 so I can play games at 4K. I currently have a gtx 960 STRIX and needless to say it obviously can't do the job. I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction. I currently have an I5- 7600K and 8gb of ram.

Performance difference between 1080 models will be minor. But you want a 1080 Ti for playing at 4k and high settings.

The ti is unfortunately out of my price range, otherwise I would get one.
