What 980ti Should I get?

I was comparing it to a 1070. I'm only using it at 1080p to begin with so all these options are a bit overkill. I can pick up a 980ti at $400 also.

would you agree that a 980ti would be the best option then

totally. That's what I plan on doing and this way I could also get it much quicker than waiting for a 1000 series card or even an RX series card(s)

The transferrable warranty is why I suggested both EVGA cards. I would highly suggest OP ask the seller if they registered the card like Geofelt stated.

yeah, that's really helpful. I wasn't aware of that. Thanks guys!

You will also be able to get a GTX 1070 for less than that price new. Give it a few weeks, or get one for about $430 now. For one thing, graphics cards lose lifespan as they are used, so the used 980Ti has that going for it. Always get something new, not old and used.

the issue is time. And the circumstance that I'm in right now does not allow me to use my pc for about 10 months in just a years time. I figure I'll use the 980ti for the next year and if I take a loss during that year I'm away, so what. At that point I would be due for a new gpu when I get back anyway, so waiting for a few weeks in my case is a pain.
