i want to buy a personal computer:
cpu:amd xp 2500+
mobo:ep-8rda3+
graphic card:geforce fx5600
ram:hy 25682 ddr333
hdd:seagate 80G 7200 8M

The power supply is a very important and often overlooked component. Don't be cheap with it, get a good name brand like Enermax etc. More problems on these BB's seem related to power supplies than anything else

Barton 2500+
Abit NF7-S v 2.0
Maxtor 60GB ATA 133 7200RPM
512MB Corsair Twinx 3200LL
9600 Pro
Enermax Noisetaker 420 watts
Win98SE

Buy a better video card like Radeon 9600 PRO or Radeon 9600XT. FX5600 is pure garbage.

512 MB RAM is highly recommended. It shouldn't cost too much.

thanks all the above
but i really can not decide which graphic card i will buy, geforce 5600(ultra) or radeon 9600 pro.
can anyone tell me more about it?

R9600 PRO and R9600XT is way better than FX5600 and FX5600 Ultra

The 5600u2 is not a terrible card for Dx 8.1 and earlier games. It only runs into problems with Dx9 shaders. Nvidia has made some solid gains with drivers, but have not been able to catch up to Ati. A comparably priced card, such as the 9600pro is a much better option.

Gigabyte radeon 9600 pro retail-$137 at newegg and comes with three shoot them up games(each rated four stars by amazon.com customers) or the best radeon 9600xt by asus, also with three games and a bunch of software;but selling for around $185 at newegg.
