Hello, so I've been trying to hook up a 2nd monitor to my pc using an adapter but without much luck.
I have a videocard (HD 6670) with a DVI-I and VGA port (in use). I have a monitor with a VGA and DVI-D port. And I have a VGA cable and a VGA to DVI-D adapter.
Will I be able to make it work with what I currently have? If not, what is the easiest and cheapest solution?
I know there are many threads about this but I got more confused than informed in the process of researching. During testing I tried monitor DVI-D > adapter DVI-D > adapter VGA > VGA cable > card VGA. And I thought that should work which it didn't so now I'm really confused. Thanks in advance.
