I want to buy this gpu:

But I have a vga only monitor.
I just want to know what adapter to vga would be the best. (Which one has the highest chance of working well)

This should do the job. This adapter supports up to 1920 x 1200 @ 60hz.

What was I planning to use is dvi to hdmi, and then hdmi to vga. (OR maybe even hdmi to vga)
I am saying that because in my place I am getting a 2 for 1 deal...
Would these solutions work too?

I never heard of anyone using 2 inline adapters together so I don't know if it will work. It doesn't sound like a good way to do it. You can use hdmi to vga but it won't carry sound. HDMI and Displayport can carry sound as well as video signal but DVI and VGA do not. You'll still need a sound cable from your motherboard to speakers but you should already be doing that now. A single adapter HDMI to VGA would be your best bet or the one I mentioned before.
