What advantages are there to a more expensive motherboard?

I am building a small form factor pc inside the node 202 case and i'm going to use an i7 7700k and a low profile Silverstone ar06. Since I won't be overclocking much due to the cooling available in this case, are there any advantages to spending an extra $50 on a higher end motherboard? Currently I was thinking about the ASRock z270m-itx witch is a budget friendly board at $114. For a much higher cost, I could go for the Asus Strix motherboard ($175). Any reason I should upgrade? Any other board recommendations?

Well budget is not that much of a concern as long as i can justify spending extra money on the motherboard although I don't want to spend a ton. I am either going to use a 1060 or 1070. Any notable features that make it worth the extra $60? If not, may as well save that money.

If you're not overclocking then I'd say no. The more expensive boards have better power delivery (and/or better sound, lan, etc). To me, no OC = $100, mild OC = $150, and high OC = $200. That's all ballpark of course and I think the ROI really drops off fast above $150.

Here is what I was planning. https://pcpartpicker.com/user/Beast2865/saved/NMZrHx. It's about $1000 dollars worth of stuff left to buy but if I can save money on the motherboard, may aswell.
