What am I doing wrong??? First PC build

My PC won't boot / post / power LED no matter what I do, so can somebody tell me whats wrong?
I have my motherboard on the motherboard box.
I have the CPU installed, the stock cooler on top with the fan cable connected.
I have my two RAM sticks installed in the second and fourth slot.
I have my graphics card in the PCIE x16 2 slot, and I have the 6+2 pin power connector connected.
I have the 8 pin CPU connector and the 24 pin power connector connected to the motherboard.
I have the power supply connected to a working outlet, with a working power cable (Yes the switch on the back is turned on)

Asrock X370 pro4
16GB G.Skill EVO Potenza (2 x 8)
Asrock Phantom Gaming X Rx 580 8GB
Corsair CX550 (2017)

you might need to reset the motherboard bios by removing cmos battery? then try and jump start the motherboard with a screwdriver or something (can lookup on the internet). try and use one stick of ram only instead of 2. try these and if they dont work then report back 😉

Sounds like something is broken. Are there any fans spinning? Or anything showing signs of power?
Edit: lol and yeah. Good point, how are you turning it on? I guess I just assumed you were. If not by the case button, do what he said with the screwdriver

Just to clarify slightly, find the motherboard pins for the front panel power button using the manual and short them out for a moment with something metal - like a screwdriver.

If you have a speaker you can connect to the motherboard pins that can help because it'll let you hear beep codes if you are gettting that far. a lot of cases and motherboards come with a tiny little peizo speaker for this purpose.

Turns out the power button on the motherboard was busted so I had to jump it myself with a screw driver, thanx for the help
