Hi

I have a B450M DS3H. I was using Ryzen 5 2600 since the creation of my pc. Now i bought a Ryzen 7 5800x. I checked it, it is compatible for the 5000 series.
I bought a NEW USB drive, 32GB 3.0 and i made it into a FAT32. I also installed the newest chipset and stuff BUT i think i made a mistake when i jumped form F40 directly to F64b.

Currently the newest version is F65b. People said i need to upgrade version by version. I saw this after i already did it. I put in the new CPU, and computer starts working but there is no dispaly. Thats why i had to put in the old CPU to write this here for help.

I tried updating again and no matter which version i choose now, it always says oemid mismatch.
Am i supposed to downgrade it back to 40 and do every single version upto 65? I would gladly provide any other info if needed.

BIOS VERSION IMAGE LINK AND APPLICATION USED FOR UPDATING DRIVERS

This is the link i used to download the F64 Bios version. I havent downloaded anything else. Should i download any other stuff?

There is no F64b listed on the motherboard's support site, unless you're referring to F65b or you're referring to another motherboard model under Gigabyte's portfolio.

Research first before you take the leap.

I'm beginning to wonder if you have another motherboard in your case but you've misinterpreted it as another.

This is a good read;

You could get a hold of a CH341A BIOS programmer and reflash the BIOS chip on the motherboard but I might just try a clear CMOS on the board. Disconnect from the wall and display, remove the CMOS battery for 30 mins, press and hold down the power button to drain residual power. Replace battery and then try and reflash the BIOS.

Thank you for your response. I know it doesnt seem like there is but when i installed the update and later checked it said F64b.

I took a picture 5 minutes ago just so you can see what it says.
