I've got Windows 98. How do you tell if it is Win 98 SE or regular Win98? This version seems pretty buggy whatever it is. If I have the regular, should I upgrade to the SE? Thanks

try this... go to contropanel> add/remove program> click on windows setup> communication> if there is an option for internet connection sharing, then you've got yourself an SE

I think you have 98 not SE. It usually says SE or B after the number.

I agree with Bubba; I think you have the "original" Windows 98.

Go to Start click on settings then Control Panel from your Start button. Then go down the list to System. on the General Tab I see.
