Will a air cooler work? Or do I have to go for a liquid cooler?

A $65 air cooler from noctua or Phanteks will do the job in a reasonably well ventilated case.
What case do you have?
What graphics card will you be using?
Also, overclocking a high wattage chip like the FX-8350 may require more than a basic motherboard.

Case is the Enermax iVektor

graphic card for now is the GTX660, will get a better one later.
