Hello,

So I need a 2TB new HDD to store my data but I'm confused by the drivers model names which are WD10EZEX / WD20EZEX / WD10EZRX / WD20EZRX / WD10EZRZ / WD20EZRZ / and the current available HDD in stores is WD Blue WD20EZRZ but I would like to know the difference's of these drivers names because I will search a bit in my country to get one.

Thanks in advance.

No need to "bump" your post.

May take some time for someone to respond especially if they need (as I often do) to do some research or otherwise verify some relevant information.

My recommendation is to go to Western Digital's website.

Select your region and then start comparing the drives and their associated specifications.

For the most part, the names may have a pattern matching the drives' specifications or capabilities. May not always be true or may even be misleading if you do not look and read carefully.

Marketing often skews the real capabilities - always attempting to make a product appear to be more than it is without actually being deceptive.

One good way to decide is to find the applicable drive User Guide/Manual. Look at the fine print. Also look at the manufacturer's FAQs and Forums. May learn more about the drives, their real differences, and any related problems by complaining posters.
