Hello there 8). After a couple of days I will be recieving my gtx 1050 for my first pc build. The card is from gigabyte with 1 fan only. And I have never OC-ed before a gpu so I wanna know from which temps I shoud avoid getting after OC.

After it gets to 80C during gaming I'd not push it any further. MSI Afterburner is probably the most popular(lots of how-to OC videos over at YouTube) GFX card monitoring and OC utility. Then there's EVGA Precision XOC and many others depending on the card vendor.
There are of course other limiting factors. Consider this screenshot

Do you see that 2743MB? That's how much VRAM my card is having to use. I have a 4GB 970 so that's not an issue. If I had a 2GB GFX card no OC could overcome that limitation. Then there's your CPU. Then there's the amount of RAM.
Okey and 1 more thing. After recieiving the gtx 1050 I will get a disk with a OC program in it, that is similar to the msi after burner, but it's from gigabyte. Should I use it or should I use Msi afterburner? Is there any difference or?

I don't have any experience with that. I used to use EVGA Precision but I much prefer MSI AB. They aren't brand specific. You can choose which one you want to use. Most important thing is that you don't use the drivers on that disk. It won't ruin your PC or anything. The included drivers are always outdated. Much better to go to Nvidia and download the latest driver.
Thanks for the help aquielisunari! And dw corwin65 I will do but the gtx 1050 can't handle all games on high so I should try overclocking it so I can match the 1050ti =)
