What are you using to rip your music CD's. I recently ripped our home collection of CD's that started in 1982 with first album released in the USA, Billy Joel's album 52nd Street(didn't know it was the first, was my wife's CD)

Counted all together was 1068 CD's. It took me 3 full weeks to rip it. And 12 of them had some kind of protection.

Yeah, I am guilty of making a copies of my own CD's! : )

-----------------
Well, since it is my own collection, they could take me to the court, but without a charge of making profit out of it... It would go nowhere.

There is no case, as even the supreme court is not clear on that making your own personal copy would be a violation. The "greedy studios", would like to collect on everything.

The law is not changed yet, the lobby is trying their best. It will change though.
