Just need opinions on temp ranges and any possible improvements, Mainly feedback. I may already know what most of you are going to say but maybe I’m wrong, maybe I’m way off in my mindset, or just an utter fool at it all.
My specs:
Mobo: Asus z97-e
Cpu: 4790k oc @4.7ghz
Gpu:EVGA 1080ti sc2 (2050MHz core/5700mem clock)
RAM: 4x4gb Corsair vengeance ddr3 1600
Monitor: AOC AG352UCG 3440x1440p GSync
Psu: Corsair Tx850M Gold
Case:Corsair carbide 540
Cooling:EK FLUID GAMING A240G with additional triple rad and Corsair LL120x5 and LL140x1 fans
Im in favor of a silent PC, but the performance is almost never an issue for me.
The Demanding games that I play usually stress my cpu and gpu a lot in games like RBSix SEIGE, assassins creed origins, tomb raider, PUBG, several COD titles, destiny 2, Wildlands,The division, and more..
These games are usually set at high setting or one tier lower than the highest quality setting (One lower than ultra).
My average cpu temps when gaming are 55-65c.
gpu temps never breaks 60, but can average at 40-55c in a 2-5 hour gameplay duration.
Fan curves are 60% during these loads, unless I manually increase them to100% it reduces temps -5c, -10c at most if I’m lucky but then I’m defeating my purpose.
Again I’m trying to maintain a silent/quiet setup.
As reference, My air cooling temps before were about the same underload possibly 5c+ but that was at 100% fan curves with a Corsair AIO and stock gpu fan curves were mostly 75%-100%. It was LOUD.
Just wondering from any of you with a similar setup or experience, are these temps good. What can I improve or change if any? Am I just paranoid? Im also trying to keep a RGB look hence why I went with the LL fans.
I’m expecting to know some of your answers already but I’d like to hear them from your perspectives.
Remember, I want to keep it as cool as I can but without compromising the silence.
Thanks ahead of time.
