What build should i go for

Im making my first pc soon and i was trying to choose 1 of 2 builds:
MSI gtx 970

i5 4690k

asrock z97 killer fata1aty

8GB kingston hyperx

or

MSI gtx 970

I5 6600k

Gigabyte ga-Z170-HD3 ddr3

8gb kingston hyperx

Second is more future proof. If you get the z97, youll have to get another mobo if you ever decide to go 6th gen or higher.

You also may want to consider getting a mobo that supports DDR4 for similar reasons, plus DDR4 works better with 6th gen I believe.
