what cable "gives electricity" to the motherboard?

how many and which cables do u have to connect to a motherboard (if u dont have gpu)?
thanks in advance

Solution
Each motherboard should have a 24 pin(some 20pin) connection socket which is the main source of the board power. If you build your PC once, you will know this for sure. This is a thick hard cord right out of your power supply, and it give the juice for all your board circuit power.

Additionally there is a plug near the CPU to provide additional power for most newer motherboards.

24Pin/20+4Pin is the modern day power connector.

For a 24 pin cable it is one power connector and if 20+4 it is 2, one with 20 pins and the other with 4, they will only fit in one way and tend to have plastic clips on top to make sure that the 20+4Pin power connectors are placed in the correct orientation.

To power the CPU (Extra Info) it is either the 4+4 pin/4 pin (lower end, low power CPU's)/8 pin CPU power connector, the header is most commonly placed at the top left of the motherboard.

thanks brah 😀
