I am building a computer for around £700-800 and I am wondering if I am getting the most out of my money with my current build, it is to keep me going and aiming for it to run music software smoothly, any tips to improve but keep within price range ? http://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/quotes/amd-fm2-richland/Dtk0WX2K4F/

What kind of music software are you trying to run? Just playing back songs like itunes or recording/converting audio formats or?

Are you able to assemble the parts yourself? If so you can likely get a far better deal buying the parts and putting it together. That's pretty expensive for what it is and many mismatched things. The apu with moderate performance to weak(ish) performance on the cpu portion paired with a gtx 950, if you're using a dedicated graphics card I'd skip the apu (cpu with graphics combo). You'd be paying for integrated graphics you're not using.

Either that or use the apu as is and drop the gpu if all you need is basic picture to the monitor and don't plan on gaming.
