Good afternoon, I have a technology sales company, and a month ago I sold a computer for heavy processing to an engineering firm.

Basically it was a Core i9-7900X with Quad Channel 128Gb RAM, they have told me they need more power, it would be nice to double this performance.

I was reviewing and AMD with TR4 does not have anything similar, unless there were boards with support for double 1950X, but I do not think so.

The only thing I can think of are the Xeon Phi, but I do not know from which references they might be reaching what we are looking for.

Thank you very much in advance for the help.

They just want (and have money) to get a better workstation.

I have already asked for proposals from different manufacturers and I got the first one from Supermicro with this option:

It is a Xeon Phi 7210 (64 Cores) but I do not see benchmark anywhere...

Well, aparently the Core i9-7900X has 2.6 billion transistors, and Xeon Phi 7210 has 8... I guess there is the answer.
