What can you compare the E-350 to?

In terms of graphics performance, is the performance better, equal to, or worse than other, more expensive, non-gaming laptops around $500-$1000 ?

i know that the processing power of the amd chip itself is close to what an intel atom can push out

The Zacate HD6310 video is about on par with an HD5450 for graphics performance. The CPU is a little slower than an AMD Athlon X2 3600+.

Here's some benchmarks of my own E-350

CPU: 1M SuperPi = 49.562 sec
GPU: 3DMark03 = 6364

It is not faster than a notebook with an i5 and GTX 460M. Not by a longshot.

Yes, both graphics and processing power-wise the E350 is weak sauce compared to a mobile i5 and 460M.

The 460M gets about 34000 on 3DMark03.
The desktop version of the i5 (i5-2500) does SuperPi 1M in about 10 seconds.
