Question What causes this static-like grinding noise I am hearing from my PC ?

what are specs of the PC?

Generally not many moving parts in a PC? So fans or things rubbing on fans, or AIO pumps.

i would suggest opening side of case and trying to isolate where in case the sound is coming from.

I assume AIO is in the roof

i get a noise from my AIO intake fans if they run over 1200rpm (I have a 360mm Arctic Freezer II) so I normally have Fan control set to run them at 900 until the CPU temps go over 60C.

its pump hits 100% speed at 40 PWM, so that is the lowest I run them.

If you let BIOS control fans it runs tham at around 1300rpm at idle... my CPU doesn't need that much normally.
