What causes this

Here are some screens shots I took with FRAPS. This only happens on certain games (WoW, Oblivion, SW Battlegrouns 2) but in EQ II and COD it works perfect

Men that is some kind of extra graphics.

I sometimes have that problems due high overclock.(It can be CPU or GPU)
Think its GPU.

Or if you changed the vga cooler on GPU there are some resistors around it
meyby termal paste you used get in conflict with them.

how hot is your card running? l used to get the same problem with my old 9700 pro and 9800 pro, they just too hot and would put out errors like that, better cooling or less overclocking will solve it.

i got a bad gefore 7800 gtx that looked similar to this after just a short time of use gaming or benchmarking. it was a trip. i rma'd it.

i believe this is from hot or bad memory.

that's the grass in the game man!!
It may be a driver issue, but i'll go with the other guys and say it's probably overheating or overclock
