what chipset is best & why

hello i am looking to buy an AMD 64 m/board.
Could someone help explain what chipset is better the nforce 250gb, VIA K8T800, VIA K8T800pro or one of the AMD chipsets and why? are there anyothere chipsets available?

The stock NF3-250 chipset is the best as far as I'm concerned. You will never have any on-line issues as can pop up with the 250G and the Firewall-Punkbuster problems. Chaintech eliminated this in their Zenith MB by utilizing a Broadcomm Gigabit LAN chip instead of the 250G with the firewall. JMHO. If you have no problems with the 250G, great! If you do, there is NO FIX as of yet.
