Question What commands should I be running to keep Windows 10/11 healthy as a form of maintenance?

Hello,

I've been told that I should be running commands like, "SFC/scannow" and "Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth" fairly regularly just because it is a low-effort form of maintenance.

And it got me wondering if there were any other things or commands I should be doing to maintain my computer (I clean it monthly and that is about it), and since I couldn't find anything online after a few searches I figured I would ask.

What should I be doing, or what can I do as a non-techie computer user to keep my computer healthy for as long as I can?

i wouldn't bother with any of those sort of command line options unless it was necessary like troubleshooting some sort of problems that kept appearing.

keep hardware drivers updated through their own manufacturer product support pages,

keep the OS up to date,

run regular(at least monthly) maintenance with Windows Disk Cleanup and/or a 3rd party software like CCleaner,

keep startup apps and auto-background processes to a minimum,

keep a strict system files & personal files backup routine with multiple disks to house the backups,

make sure you do at least a yearly(if a basic usage system) or a quarterly(if used for heavy tasks like gaming) physical cleaning routine to keep dust/etc from building up,

and do not visit shady sites, download anything from any shady sites, or click on any unknown links anywhere

SFC /scannow is just for some fixes in case of trouble, otherwise just a test.
I use this set of DISM commands for general testing and cleaning

fsutil resource setautoreset true c:\&fsutil usn deletejournal /d /n c:&Dism.exe /online /Cleanup-Image /StartComponentCleanup&Dism.exe /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth&Dism.exe /Online /Cleanup-Image /StartComponentCleanup /ResetBase&pause

Just copy all of this in Command prompt (as Administrator) and keep i in a text file.
