What cooler should i buy

I understand almost nothing when it comes to what cooler should i buy. So i was hoping you can help me. My CPU is "Intel Core i5 2300 @ 2.80GHz Sandy Bridge 32nm Technology".Thanks

Your CPU has LGA1155 socket and 95Watt (rather high) Thermal Design Power. You also have to keep in mind, that the height of the cooler is limited by your PC case.
I´d recommend a Cryorig H7, or let us know more about your case and you will get further suggestions!

Or, alternatively stick with the stock cooler if very low budget. The cryorig is a good choice, but the stock cooler will do too.
