I've had three different motherboards die on me in the past three months, and I don't know what could be killing them. I've put together plenty of computers and still have two that I put together five years ago that are still working. I'm really gentle and I make sure that I don't have static energy on me. I don't think it's something that happens when I put the computer together, but something that happens when It's in the computer, but maybe I'm wrong. I've also tried every fix for trying to get a motherboard to post, they just seem to die and become completely unresponsive.
My PC specs are:
CPU- AMD FX 8320
RAM- 2 x 4 DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Corsair Vengeance
HD- HGST Travelstar 7K1000 HTS721010A9E630 1TB 7200 RPM
Case- Cooler master HAF 912
PSU- Corsair TX850M semi modular
GPU-Sapphire tri-x oc R9 290
the three motherboards that died are: ASRock 990FX Extreme 3, ASUS m5a97 r2.0, and Asus M5A97 LE
I'm in the process of RMAing my PSU, but I'm not even sure if that's the problem.
The motherboards work fine, but then one day they don't POST at all, and there's nothing I can do.
Any help would be appreciated.
