Hi Guys,

I just bought a 27" 144Hz monitor for gaming. I have a GTX 1070 GPU, AMD A10-7850K APU(Processor), GA-F2A88XM-D3H mobo, 16GB of DDR3 RAM. When I play games like Gears of War, the FPS is very low and does not exceed 50. I have tried different settings like Medium, High, Ultra and the result is the same. I hope GTX 1070 is able to handle more fps. What could be the issue here?.

Make and model of your PSU and it's age? What GPU were you working with prior to getting the GTX 1070(meaning did you perform a GPU upgrade)? Did you try and use DDU to uninstall your GPU drivers and then reinstall the latest drivers sourced off of Nvidia's support site, installing them in an elevated command, manually? i.e, Right click installer>Run as Administrator.

Which BIOS version are you on for your motherboard? What OS version are you currently on? We're on version 20H2 for Windows 10.
