Hello everybody, let me share my story with y'all.

Well, it all started quite some time ago, maybe like 2 years back, I experienced random PC reboots like once a month at most. I didn't pay much attention to it, I just blamed it on playing really demanding games. But recently I have been getting these reboots even when I wasn't doing anything. 2 days ago I ordered a new PSU, thinking it could've been because of my old one being like 6 or so years old, and I even noticed my keyboard backlight flickering when playing games. Fast forward to today, I exchanged the PSUs, booted up a game, the flickering was gone, I played for a couple of minutes, and then boom, another reboot. At least after changing the PSUs I can at least use the PC for browsing and stuff, but gaming is off limits, as it reboots after playing for 5 minutes max. I am now lost, don't know what could be the problem, the PSU is new, the graphics card was replaced like 2 months ago, Windows was freshly reinstalled before writing this, leaving only the drives, CPU, RAM and the motherboard. I don't really know where to go from here. Any help would be appreciated.

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

MB: MSI B450-A PRO
What BIOS version are you on for your motherboard?

GPU: ZOTAC GeForce RTX 3070
Did you remove all GPU drivers using DDU then manually reinstalled the latest GPU drivers sourced from Nvidia's support site in an elevated command, i.e, Right click installer>Run as Administrator?

Did you replace the thermal paste on your CPU's cooler? Make and model of your case, the number and orientation of the fans in said case and your ambient room air temps?

Windows was freshly reinstalled
What OS are you working with? Where did you source the installer for the OS? Did you install the OS in offline mode?

PSU: SilverStone Strider Essential 700W
the majority of Silverstone Strider Essential units i've seen are very low quality and not intended for heavy-use systems like gaming.

and the RTX 3070 series ranges in required minimum power from 650-750w.

even if this power supply offers the required wattage it's possible that it just can't provide a stable connection thus resulting in system resets.
