What cpu is the best for my mbo and will it work?

Hello,

The question is can I upgrade my shitty pc wih AMD Phenom II x4 955BE or 965BE and would it work. Or any other better cpu.
My mbo is( Biostar n61pb-m2s ) http://www.biostar.com.tw/app/en/mb/introduction.php?S_ID=370
Currently I have AMD Athlon x64 dual core 5400+ , 2gb or ram (will max it to 4 if i find a solution for cpu) and gpu is Nvidia gt520

Those two won't work. Open that link you gave and look at the cpu support list for compatibel cpu's. It says that the "AMD Phenom™ II X4 x945" is about the fastest 4 core cpu you can use on that board.
This board only supports cpu's up to 95watts tdp when the ones you asked about are 125watt tdp cpu's.

Thank you sir, I found a better cpu than that one and its actually AMD Phenom II x4 955 95w TDP. I think it should work what you think?
Couldn't find anywhere what is the best cpu for this mbo its to damn old but it will use me for year or two.

Only thing i can say is that you can try,the structure of the cpu's isn't different,but it still isn't in the supported list so it might fail.
