What CPU should i get?

Im going to upgrade my computer for gaming, I am adding a GTX 980. I currently have an i5-4440. If I need to change the CPU then should I get an i5-4690k or an i7-4790k .

It'll work fine, if you want to use the OC capability, you have to get a Z97 board.

The Haswell i5 can run with any card.

i5 Haswell, Like I have was bought just for that reason, I can easily upgrade my GPU in a few years and it will still be a solid processor.
