My mainboard is in the proccess of dying and I am looking to replace it, I was wondering if I should replace my 1155 cpu or should I stay with it? I basically want to make sure that if my board dies again before my cpu, I'll be able to get parts. I may be wrong but 1150 boards seem more available than 1155. So should I replace my 1155 or not?

The 1150 because you can fit good i5 or i7s. For future references, here's a good i5: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819117372&nm_mc=AFC-C8Junction&cm_mmc=AFC-C8Junction-_-na-_-na-_-na&cm_sp=&AID=10446076&PID=6146996&SID=5uozbcn7vvgw, and here's a good i7: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819117369
Works fine for me 😛 Anyway, I am more interested in which socket is better and has more of a future, 1150 or 1155, I can replace the CPU later at my leasure :)
